Remember SAFEGUARDING IS EVERYONE'S BUSINESS
This section of the website is in place to share all of the things that we do at school to ensure the safety of the entire school community. Governors, staff, children and parents all have a role to play, and you will find information and links to child safety sites here. If you have any suggestions or ideas for things we should include in this section of the website, please let us know. We recognise that all staff and volunteers have a full and active part to play in protecting our pupils from harm. Our school procedures for safeguarding children are in line with the Northamptonshire Safeguarding Children Board (NSCB).
For further information, please see a full copy of our Safeguarding Policy in the Documents and Policies tab or alternatively contact the school office for a hard copy.
Everyone at school wants you to feel happy and safe. You can talk to any adult in school if you feel worried or unsafe. We have a 'Hand of Trust' in each classroom. This has the names and photographs of people you might feel comfortable talking to.
If you have any concerns about your child's welfare please make an appointment with the class teacher in the first instance. Remember, they will take any issue or concern you have seriously and are committed to helping your child feel safe at school. Most issues are resolved satisfactorily at this stage.
Family and Pastoral Support
Mrs Debbie Tucker is our Parent Support Worker and Kaleidoscope co-ordinator. Her role is very diverse and includes emotional support for both children and their families. Debbie is available to support parents with any aspect of parenting. Debbie has a wealth of experience, however if she cannot provide the support required she will signpost parents to other services and agencies.
