Remember

SAFEGUARDING IS EVERYONE'S BUSINESS

This section of the website is in place to share all of the things that we do at school to ensure the safety of the entire school community. You will find information and links to child safety sites here.

InMAT inspire multi-academy trust is fully is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of all our pupils. We expect everyone associated with InMAT, all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Our CEO is the trust Designated Safeguarding Lead. Our trust Inclusion Lead supports our schools to make sure their processes and procedures are robust and fit for purpose. Each school in our trust has a Designated Safeguarding Lead and a safeguarding governor.  We are committed to ensuring that our safeguarding leaders and all staff and volunteers receive the appropriate training to prepare them for their roles.

All our schools follow the guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education (2023), Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018), the Governance Handbook. All staff and volunteers will adhere to the InMAT safeguarding policy, whistleblowing policy and staff code of conduct.

We recognise that all staff, governors, children, parents and volunteers all have a full and active part to play in protecting our pupils from harm. Our school procedures for safeguarding children are in line with the Northamptonshire Safeguarding Children Board (NSCB).

For further information, please see a full copy of our Safeguarding Policy or alternatively contact the school office for a hard copy.

For Children

Everyone at school wants you to feel happy and safe. You can talk to any adult in school if you feel worried or unsafe. We have a 'Hand of Trust' in each classroom. This has the names and photographs of people you might feel comfortable talking to.

For Parents

If you have any concerns about your child's welfare please make an appointment with the class teacher in the first instance. Remember, they will take any issue or concern you have seriously and are committed to helping your child feel safe at school. Most issues are resolved satisfactorily at this stage.
