Friends of St James (FOSJ)
Who are Friends of St James?
As parents, carers or grandparents of a child at St James Infant & Pre-School, you are automatically a member of the Friends of St James group. We hope you and your child enjoy the many events we run throughout each academic year.
This is a great opportunity for you to be involved in the life of the school.
Fundraising Events
The Christmas Fair and Summer Fair are our major fundraising events, but we also organise a range of smaller events throughout the year, including:
- Discos
- Cake sales
- Sponsored events
- Film nights
The money raised enables the school to purchase a variety of items that enhance the children's education and experiences in school. We believe the children all really benefit from these additional opportunities and always enjoy the events we run.
How Can You Help?
There are many ways to support Friends of St James, including:
- Helping at events as a stall holder
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of events
- Offering occasional support when you are available
You do not need to commit to regular participation. Any help, big or small, is always greatly appreciated.

Committee Meetings
If you would like to attend a committee meeting, you would be very welcome.
All members of the Committee look forward to working with you and would welcome any new ideas for fundraising events.
