The School Day
Our school day begins at 8:45am and finishes at 3:15pm for all year groups.
Please note that late arrivals and late collections are monitored daily to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.
Total teaching time each week:
32 hours and 25 minutes (excluding breaks and lunchtime).

Playtimes and Snacks
Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception)
Children have access to the outdoor learning environment throughout the day and are provided with a healthy snack.
Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)
Morning break takes place from 10:50am to 11:05am. During this time, children can enjoy a snack and some fresh air before returning to lessons.
Lunchtime
Lunch is served at:
- 12:00pm for EYFS (Reception)
- 12:15pm for KS1 (Years 1 and 2)
Children can choose either a school meal or bring a packed lunch from home.

We offer a selection of hot school meals each day.

Universal Free School Meals
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals.
Please do not make payments for these meals through School Grid or ParentPay.
End of Lunch
- EYFS Lunch Ends: 1:00pm
- KS1 Lunch Ends: 1:15pm
Drop-Off and Collection
Parents and carers are welcome onto the playground at the beginning and end of the school day.
We value strong partnerships between home and school, and these opportunities help us build positive relationships with families.
If your child's usual drop-off or collection arrangements change, for example another adult is collecting them, please let us know as soon as possible. This helps us ensure all children are collected safely and avoids any unnecessary worry or confusion.
Travelling to School
Whenever possible, we encourage families to walk to school.
Walking to school:
- Supports children's health and wellbeing
- Helps reduce traffic around the school
- Improves road safety for everyone
- Respects our neighbours and local parking regulations
For those travelling by bike or scooter, bike racks are available on site.
If you need to travel by car, please park considerately and avoid parking directly outside or opposite the school gates to help keep everyone safe at busy times.
